Remembrances – Reflections of Healing, is VOW Media’s first project with Shakti Samuha. Young girls and women who are survivors of human trafficking and living in our partner organization, Shakti Samuha’s shelter home were trained on photography and videography skills for over 4 months. The classes were interspersed with workshops on women’s  rights, feminism, human rights, and leadership.

After the training, they created short films that can be used as an advocacy tool to raise awareness about human trafficking from their own experiences.
