Day 3: Interviews
Pooja took the women and did practice interview rounds. One woman held the camera, one asked the questions, and one was being interviewed. We asked the following questions:
Naam/Name
Hoe oud ben jij?/How old are you?
Waar kom jij vaandan?/Where do you come from?
Wat mis jij het meest van jouw land?/What do you miss the most from your country?
Waarom ben je weg gegaan?/Why did you leave?
Hoe heb jij huis Agnes gevonden?
/How did you find Huize Agnes?
Wat zijn jouw verlangans voor de toekomst?/What do you want for the future?
Pooja also asked what made the women happy or angry.
The happy list included:
flowers, their children, the sun, their own house, papers
The angry list included:
racism, dishonesty, when you lose control of your children, people with closed/traditional and conservative values, people who judge
