Unfortunately on the evening of March 3, 2011 our tiny office in the Volkskrant Gebouw was robbed!
VOW Media lost much desperately needed equipment used for our workshops – two of our Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS42 cameras used for self-portraits were stolen, in addition to two computers that were kindly donated to us by STEIM – a G5 PPC tower and also a G4 PPC laptop.

Not only did we need these computers to run our office space, edit video, process photos – but they also contained all of our data from our workshops!
We luckily have backups but this is a major setback for our young organization.

We are looking for replacement computers for our Media Center – we know we can’t be picky, but we need MAC computers with strong processing power with the ability to handle video editing.
