An hour-long peaceful protest demanding equal rights for women at all levels in nation building in the upcoming constitution . The focus of the event was to address public’s demand to be able to acquire “Nepali” citizenship in the name of mother “Or” father rather than mother “And” father. The event was organised by approximately 50 organizations in alliance.

Women, CA members, human rights activists and a visible number of men supported the campaign voicing their support for equal rights with related slogans. There was a participation of around 600 or more people.
