Everyone should have the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge in order to understand, participate actively in, and benefit fully from society and the economy. Literacy and universal education are key factors for building a fully inclusive society, paying particular attention to the special needs of girls and women. Techno Hub – focuses on working with low income, urban, inner-city young girls who are high school students at local government schools in our neighborhood. By providing them a technological education which they miss in their schools, we equip them to face the world. Techno Hub is also a space where they receive lectures on feminism, sexual and reproductive rights, choices and identities, their right to safe mobility and social taboos like menstruation.
