“Non Citizen’ / “अनागरिक” is a film on the issue of citizenship in Nepal. It was made by Forum for Women, Law and Development; an organization that works for the protection, promotion and enjoyment of human rights.

The citizenship provision has passed in our constitution. Men can independently confer citizenship without requiring any information of the female spouse but women need to furnish evidences of their husbands’ nationality or prove that they can’t identify who the real father is.
