VOW Media will host a film screening of “Girl Rising” at 12.00 p.m., June 13, at Thames International College in collaboration with YUWA.  This revolutionary documentary film by  an Academy Award-nominated director Richard E. Robbins spotlights the inspiring stories of nine girls from developing countries, shows them overcoming great obstacles to obtain an education and change their fates.
